Vinicius: "Ancelotti Tells Me Every Time We're Going to Win the World Cup"
Ancelotti is learning Portuguese and promising Vinicius the World Cup — Brazil might just believe it this time.
Brazil's star man is brimming with confidence — and his manager's belief is contagious.
Vinicius Junior has made no secret of Brazil's ambitions for 2026. Speaking to Ibai Llanos, the Real Madrid forward was unequivocal: this is Brazil's year to finally end their 24-year wait for a sixth World Cup title.
And a lot of that belief stems from Carlo Ancelotti. "He has changed the face of the team. We play better, we are happier and more relaxed," Vinicius said. "Whenever he calls me, he tells me we're going to win the World Cup. He's already learning Portuguese — and he's learning it very quickly."
For a Brazil side that has underdelivered on the world stage for two decades, that kind of belief from the dugout might be exactly what they've been missing.
